1. Who we are
sourex is operated by Content71. Content71 acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
2. Data we collect and why
- Account data (name, email, login credentials, profile preferences) — to create and manage your account and provide the service. Legal basis: performance of contract.
- Product and sales data you enter (product names, prices, goals, sales you log) — to provide the core features of the service. Legal basis: performance of contract.
- Support communications (messages you send us, attachments) — to respond to your requests. Legal basis: legitimate interests / performance of contract.
- Usage and device data (IP address, browser and device identifiers, pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location, timestamps) — for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and improving the service. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Marketing data (email open / click events, marketing preferences) — only where you have opted in or where permitted by law. Legal basis: consent or legitimate interests.
Payment card details are collected directly by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, and are not stored by us.
3. Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors we use to run the service, including cloud hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, and customer support tooling.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, refunds, and invoicing.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants where reasonably necessary.
- Authorities where we are required to do so by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including outside the UK / EEA. Where this is the case, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
5. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting and reporting obligations, to defend legal claims, and to maintain backups. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. UK / EEA users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact us through the in-app support channel and we will respond within the time required by applicable law (typically one month under GDPR).
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to run the service (for example to keep you logged in) and, where permitted, limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
9. Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email.
10. Contact
